Karlsson is a handsome, thoroughly clever, perfectly plump man in his prime. I’m not sure if you are on top of this issue, but Karlsson-on-the-Roof got married! This Swedish guy had found his bride in Ukraine. So their wedding took place there.
We were the witnesses. On the big day the newlyweds came to Central Civil Registry Office in Kyiv. This was a surprise for the old-fashioned staff. Some of them thought that they gone crazy. But others acted like a wedding of the fictional character is just a regular event. Miss Fröken Bock also came from Sweden and made a marriage record.
Lillebror and a couple of black masked thieves were the groomsmen. All this was celebrated with a can of jam on a rooftop of the tallest building in Kyiv.
Mr. and Mrs. Karlsson live on this roof up to this day. We made a couple of photos and a video of this unique Karlssons’ wedding for you.
