Couple Photoshoot at Sea Star Resort Phu Quoc

They were from the US. Staying at Sea Star Resort on Long Beach. Wrote two days before checkout.

That's pretty standard here, actually.

Sea Star Resort sits on Tran Hung Dao Street in Duong Dong — right on the beach. Private stretch of Long Beach Phu Quoc, shaded by palms and big almond trees. Direct access, no walk, no taxi. The beach is just there.

Good starting conditions.

We began on the hotel grounds — wood, tropical shadow, natural textures. Then moved to the water when the light changed.

Long Beach faces west.

That means the sun goes down straight into the sea. About forty minutes before it does, the light turns horizontal and warm. Soft. The kind that makes you look better without trying.

That's when I shoot.

A sunset photoshoot on Long Beach Phu Quoc isn't about picking a nice background and standing in front of it. It's about showing up at the right forty minutes. The same spot an hour earlier looks like nothing.

I showed up at the right time.

They looked at each other the way people look when they're genuinely happy.

Not because I asked them to.

My job at that point is simple: don't interrupt it. Press the button at the right moment. A romantic couple photoshoot at Sea Star Resort — or anywhere on this island — isn't built on poses. It's built on the thirty seconds when people forget there's a camera.

The private beach helps. It's quiet enough for something real to happen.

Most of Phu Quoc's hotels are along Long Beach in the Duong Dong area. Small boutique places, mid-size resorts — almost all of them with direct beach access. Sea Star is one of them.
