Odessa greeted us with cold windy weather and smiling Alexander Slyadnev on the platform of the station. But warmth and, most importantly, the sun were needed for the shooting.
The second day of the MK was dedicated to a practical lesson with a model in the studio, as well as working with additional, external lighting on the street. For this, you need the sun. Without it, all meaning is lost. It's a paradox, but if there is sun, then I shoot with light, if there is none, then it's easier for me, I don't need to drag "light" with me. Moreover, the brighter the sun, the more powerful the additional lighting source should be.
And the sun was there. Deceptive, really. I frankly felt sorry for Nastya, our model. The cold and piercing wind made me raise my collar. Spring is only on the calendar for now. Therefore, for the outdoor shooting, I dressed her in a light, summer sundress with an open back. And she happily, skipping, galloped out into the street.
Well, you can see everything in the video. :)
The second version of this photo is for color lovers.
I consider myself one of them. I often sit and decide which version to choose. Muted (b/w) or color. More often than not, I choose color. I feel sorry to kill it. Beautiful, damn it... :) However, I look at the muted colors and I like them too, even more than the colored ones. Beautiful, damn it... :) And this time I'm showing both author's versions of this photo.
Maybe I'll continue doing this. We'll see. I'll be glad to read who likes which version more? And if you also indicate why - it's just awesome. :) It's interesting, everyone has their own vision of photography and art in general.
It needs to be finished, refined. This is just an idea for now. Maybe a city burning in flames in the background and at the bottom it is somehow empty with such a head at the top. This is more for designers. I will not announce any competitions. If anyone is interested in this topic, send me a request to my email: morefoto@gmail.com I will send you the RAWs of this photo. Do whatever you want. I will post all the results here for discussion.
