What should a petite bride consider?
- The dress, of course.
Even if you'd like to be a chic princess, I advise you not to wear a voluminous dress. With a short stature, it looks too pompous and often inappropriate. It's as if you see, "The dress went with the groom's hand!" The bride gets lost in it. And we want both the groom and the guests to see only you and your bride's incomparable beauty!
Short wedding dresses are coming back into fashion! A length just above the knee and a fitted cut will perfect your figure and make your legs look longer. And all the groom's friends will be envious of your future husband: "What a lucky brother and his wife!"
If the temptation to wear a long dress is too great, choose dresses with narrow skirts that emphasize a beautiful silhouette.
- The hairstyle!
If you want to appear a little taller, you can experiment with an updo if it matches the style of your dress. A short haircut will also make a person look taller. But I don't think it's a good idea to get a dramatic haircut the night before the wedding. Don't take this advice literally; if you like casual hairstyles and long hair, forget about that "height gain." Let's get the shoes out!
- Shoes.
Of course, high heels are our friend. Just be careful not to overdo it. Wedding shoes should be comfortable! It's better that your wedding photographer tries to elongate your legs with a wide-angle lens than that you spend the entire wedding with an incomprehensible walk and a pained expression. A wide-angle lens can only make that worse.
The shape of your shoes also makes a difference. Try to avoid shoes with horizontal straps and ribbons. Vertical lines and deep "cutouts" on shoes will lengthen your legs.
