WEDDING PHOTO SESSION IN MONACO AND CANNES

Wedding photo shoot in Monaco, Cannes and Nice.

How was it? Almost all 80 photos were taken by my assistant on an iPhone.
I will post high-quality photos from this trip later. When I process them. Fortunately, I received permission to publish from the newlyweds, so for now, watch how it was.
Enjoy watching.

I went on a trip to France in the company of my second photographer, Misha. He is my “old” student and has extensive experience assisting at my shoots. Thanks to him, we will see all the subsequent photos.

The customers of this trip, as I already wrote in the announcement, were Denis and Zhanna Lenkov. They are the owners of the famous Wedding Planning Center “Newlyweds” from Kazakhstan. Which is famous for its good organization and exquisite taste.

They invited me to be the photographer for their wedding in France. Which once again confirms that they really have excellent taste. :)

Boryspil Airport, Terminal F in all its glory.

"Minibus" to France. Well, really, isn't there a crowd in the minibus?

And this is how it looks from the outside.

My plane to Paris was with Air France.

And then, from Paris to Nice, another plane of the same airline was waiting for me. There, everything was just as good and pleasant, except that the seat backs did not recline.

This is probably due to the fact that the flight was only an hour and a half. Overall, I was pleased with the flight and the service. No one expected anything outrageous, and at the same time, it was better than flying back on Ukrainian airlines UIA.

The food was definitely nicer.

French lunch on the plane

From a very good bird's eye view.
Do you see the small light circle almost in the center of the frame? This is none other than the stadium where EURO 2012 was held.

For some reason, the ship's captain speaks French.

And I understand that I will have to hear and communicate in this language, which I do not understand, for the next three days. It seems that they announced minus 40 degrees outside. Judging by the picture on the window glass, I can assume that I heard everything correctly. The only question is why, in this case, these clouds did not freeze. If anyone knows about this, write in the comments, I'm interested.

Landed at Paris Charles-de-Gaulle airport. It's a frankly surreal sight when you taxi a plane parallel to a regular highway, next to passing cars, and then just drive over them on top of the bridge.

Aaaah.., surreal!)

At Paris Charles-de-Gaulle airport, Wi-Fi, or as the French say, Wi-Fi, turned out to be conditionally free.

The first 15 minutes are free, and then give me some money. I don’t remember how much, it wasn’t expensive. But, of course, no one planned to bother about it. Misha and I had enough of the treasured 15 minutes to signal to our loved ones that everything was ok and look at our location on the map. At Kiev airport, Wi-Fi was free. Perhaps only with a time limit on waiting for your flight. )

Then transfer to local airlines and to Nice.

Who asked for a photo of Paris?
This is Paris!
"See Paris and die" - we've seen everything, now we can retire. )

Nice greeted me with warmth and high humidity. The sea is obviously hidden somewhere nearby. The poor super lens on my super phone even started sweating from fright. Super effects, super blur.

The next morning.

Denis and Zhanna personally came to meet us and this made the meeting doubly enjoyable. We were taken to a "nice house", settled into rooms and wished good night. And this is how I saw the morning on the French Riviera when I opened my eyes. Such familiar palm trees, only thicker and more spreading than those I was used to seeing from the window of a house in Thailand.

Who's sleeping!? Am I sleeping? Not a wink in my eye.
Here, I'm taking photos of the exteriors and guests through the windows of the villa. Look what your neighbors were doing while you were sleeping!

Second day of shooting.
Just kidding. I decided to sleep in for all the photographers who didn't get enough sleep on the day of their shoot. Waking up early while everyone else is sleeping is the stupidest thing after a flight. There's simply nothing to do. Even after photographing fish, palm trees, and green pomegranates hanging on the trees.

Can you imagine, it turns out that pomegranates don't grow on supermarket shelves, as some young shooters think, but on trees!

A few overview photos for those who for some reason have never been to Cannes. Maybe you'll like something and immediately find a house to buy.

And this is where the famous Cannes Film Festival takes place.

The palm branch will not let you confuse the Cannes embankment with the Pattaya embankment. And they are similar, I tell you. Only everything is more well-groomed, more beautiful and respectable. )

I'm into self-decoration. It's nice to take photos in such company even in Cannes. )

Working

What kind of a pro do you have to be to shoot a romantic Love Story with so many Cannes seals warming their well-groomed bodies on the French Riviera?

Do you see where Denis and Zhanna are standing? There they are, on the pedestal. We had little time to shoot. That's why we used all the tools we had here and now. I put the guys on the pedestal, put on a 135 mm f/2 long-focus lens with an X2 converter and got 270 mm with an f/4 aperture.

Thus, I brought closer and blurred all those whitish yachts that were in the background of the lovers. It turned out very beautiful. Whoever came up with the idea with the Titanic - congratulations, you are already somewhere in the twentieth place.

I did the same. ;)

These are the terrible conditions I had to live in these days.)

In the evening, the whole family and I gathered to look at the photos we took in Cannes and at home during this unforgettable day. It was great. )

And this is how the evening of that day looked. The smoldering coals of the barbecue by the pool, Blanche and a pleasant company of two families, now united into one. Such evenings are remembered forever.

Morning of the next day.

Today we are expecting a wedding bouquet, a wedding dress and a wedding groom. Kisses, wedding rings, Monaco, Monte Carlo, smiles, congratulations, illusions and of course a delicious wedding cake. :)

So, let's go!

And here we are already in Monaco.

Excellent roads, beautiful landscapes outside the car window, not weak traffic jams, smiling people. The number of very expensive cars per parking lot exceeds all acceptable and healthy standards. Without leaving the cash register, we immediately get to work.

Wedding photo shoot in Monaco. It sounds somehow... right, or something.
The crane was positioned in the frame somehow very wrongly.

The smiling security guard looked out, congratulated us and disappeared back into the glamorous darkness of the store.
A beautiful dress, isn't it?

The main problem in Cannes is parking.

If you found a place to park, then from now on, you can consider yourself a lucky person. Parking is paid. We paid for parking. 3€ for 2 hours. We returned after 2 hours 7 minutes. This 7-minute delay cost us 17€.

Here, at the very tip of the cape, Denis and Zhanna exchanged their vows, where they celebrated this wonderful event with their guests.

We returned home by 4:00 in the morning.

And an hour later, Misha and I left for Nice airport.
We are flying back.

That's how my trip to France ended. I visited Nice, Cannes and Monaco.

Then Kyiv and another plane to shoot a wedding in Crimea were waiting for me. Thus, I broke another personal record. Six planes in a week! I hope it will remain unbroken. ) In Kyiv, it turned out that Air France had successfully lost my suitcase. And in it, there was a powerful battery light, chargers and much more. In short, I had to take Misha's flash, urgently buy a new razor, toothbrush, etc. and fly with all this to Crimea.

Late in the evening of the next day, while I was shooting a restaurant in Sevastopol, airline representatives delivered the suitcase home. It was not even opened, but my favorite flash had undergone severe tests and upon arrival, I saw it in this extreme state. It can definitely fly now.

These are the adventures I had on this trip.

It was exciting, beautiful, festive and left the impression of constant laughter and fun around. Especially the parents. Oddly enough, but I somehow noticed that silence fell on the villa, there was no laughter and screams of bodies flying and splashing into the pool. It turned out that the older generation went shopping in Nice, and all the young people sat at their laptops, iPads, etc.

The biggest noise and hubbub were created by those who are usually credited with peace and a measured way of life. That's it. We will grow up too, becoming as cheerful and joyful as the parents of Denis and Zhanna. Thank you, dear friends, for inviting me to your family holiday. It was great! :)
