NAPASAI PHOTO. PHOTOSHOP

Beautiful Napasai. Painted from a wedding photoshoot. See the "before and after" GIF and a short lesson on palm movement in the attachment:

I actually took this photo like this, without the shadows of the trees.

I drew the sun and placed it where you see it now. I didn't set myself the task of being realistic. The priority was artistic painting and the beauty of the image.

That's it. I painted it. It's beautiful. I merged all the layers and saved this final frame.

After an hour, I returned to the monitor and realized it would be fun to create a little shadow illusion.

Of course, if I weren't so concerned with the realism and authenticity of the photos I love so much, I would have transferred the palm tree's shadow coming from the bottom left corner to the palm tree by the sea. And I would have drawn a few more shadows from other palm trees. Of course, the sun is in the wrong place. But it's clearly visible.

The shadow of one palm tree is real, but all the others are completely fake. Even assuming that the shadows correspond to the sun's rays, a close examination of the vectorial nature of all shadows shows that the sun must be 50 meters from the shore.

That in itself is complete nonsense. There would also have to be long, moving shadows from the umbrellas, which don't exist and won't exist. All of that could, of course, be corrected. Move the tree to the right, correct the direction of the shadows, and trace any missing shadows from other objects.

But that's a lot of time I'll spend taking a "normal" picture.

In this video, you can see how I did it. I apologize in advance for my English and my old habits.
I moved the palm tree and its shadow to the correct position in the photo. Now the palm tree's shadow falls roughly as it would in real life. The curvature of the shadow isn't quite perfect, and there's still no umbrella shadow. However, the photo now looks more natural. See the finished photo below.

I did it! I tried to make this picture "normal" and still managed to get it done! :)
Good luck to everyone.
