WEDDING PICTURE OF THE GROOM

The first photo from my workshop in Turkey. Portrait of a Turk.

On the right is the lonely, neglected, and abandoned bride. The groom is in the lens.

That guy did a really good job, well done.

On the steps of this bridge, near the left post, I filmed the alleged Turkish groom. It looks so simple from the outside. And in practice, it's quite easy, too. If you know how to handle the camera and the light.

In addition to this portrait, the event itself was remarkable. Eduard Stelmakh, photographer from Phu Quoc Island, traveled to the city of Samsun in Turkey to conduct a photography masterclass.

Local Turkish photographers gathered to learn lighting, posing, and creative composition directly on location, turning the session into an inspiring cross-cultural exchange.
