What is wedding photography in general, and a wedding album in particular?
For some, it's a tribute to tradition (some men), for others, it's a priceless treasure. Memory can't always capture all the details of a happy wedding day, but when you open your wedding album, the events unfold before your eyes as if by magic. There are many different opinions, but everyone agrees on one thing: wedding photography is an indispensable and absolutely necessary element of any wedding celebration.
Wedding photography emerged simultaneously with the advent of photography itself and was originally, of course, exclusively reserved for the studio.
But time marches on – the technology and methodology of photography in general, and wedding photography in particular, have improved. Now, every couple in love can order a photoshoot of their love story, reportage photography of the wedding celebration, a "wedding walk," and professional wedding photography in a studio. It all depends on the imagination and financial means of the bride and groom.
The love story is a recent innovation. It's usually done before the wedding and plays two important roles. First, the lovers receive a kind of photo story of their love, and second, they can see for themselves the professionalism and talent of the chosen photographer. The love story is usually written by the newlyweds together with the wedding photographer.
The wedding photographer's task is to present everything in a cheerful and warm light, to sense the couple's needs, and to create a small photographic masterpiece. The setting for this action can be the streets of their hometown or colorful suburban landscapes—there are no limits. And the resulting photos are full of emotion and love, radiating a touch of tenderness and warmth. The wedding photographer has "sounded out" his future models and already knows what and how to proceed at the wedding.
Photographing the wedding reception itself is also very varied.
Here, natural shots are mixed with staged scenes. A special place is occupied by the "wedding walk" shoot. The bride and groom pose for the photographer in various locations and from different angles. The wedding photographer's job is to capture all their emotions and moods, to record every unique moment of the event, and not miss a single "worthwhile" movement of the bride and groom, which will then be the crowning moment of this photoshoot and the entire photo album.
